Not just a winter warmer, but one for the summer too! You can make enough to eat the next day if you want to serve cold. It’s all about preferences. Personally, I’m not a fan of cold porridge and if I was to eat it cold I would substitute the oats for Quinoa.
250ml of Almond or Coconut Milk
teaspoon of cinnamon
A handful of mixed berries
5-10 chopped almonds
Rolled Oats (choose gluten free if on the elimination)
Mix together around 35g of rolled oats with 250ml of coconut or almond milk in a pan
Bring to the boil
Add a teaspoon of cinnamon and some orange zest to flavour and simmer for 5 minutes
Chop up the berries and almonds
Couldn’t be easier! Plop it in a bowl, sprinkle the berries and almonds on top and away you go!
